3. Nivia HY-Energy 2.0 – Best Cushioning-Focused Option
Nivia’s HY-Energy 2.0 is another interesting option in this price bracket.

What makes it particularly interesting is its marketplace feedback. Current Flipkart listings show ratings around 4.5–4.8/5, depending on the listing and number of reviews.
That makes it worth considering for someone who doesn’t necessarily care about buying from a badminton-specialist brand.
Best for: Wildcard purchase, may be very good or moderate.
Before we wrap up…
One thing I wouldn’t compromise on is the non-marking sole. Badminton involves constant lunges, sudden stops and lateral movement, so a proper indoor court shoe is much more important than simply buying a comfortable running shoe.
Also, don’t choose purely based on brand. Your foot shape matters. A ₹1,700 shoe that fits you properly can be much better than a ₹3,000 shoe that pinches your toes or lets your heel move around.
